DEEELAY MANNERS is an indie magazine launched in Tokyo in 2025.


We embrace "slowness" as a positive force, delivering records of poetic and creative adventures through the city—explorations made possible only by taking things slow. Each issue features long-form writing, beautiful photography, and a healthy dose of odd, off-kilter projects. Our mood? It’s basically, "Wait, why did no one tell me living slowly is way more interesting than rushing?"

We were actually aiming for the Taipei Art Book Fair (TPABF) in 2024, but guess what! We were delightfully delayed by a full year, and the inaugural issue is now making its debut at TPABF 2025. See? Not rushing really is important.

We offer two versions: a Japanese/English edition and a Japanese/Traditional Chinese edition. Choose your pleasure!

我們肯定「慢」的力量，用細膩的長文、優美的照片和充滿荒謬感的企劃，記錄那些因「慢」而在城市中展開的詩意而具創造性的冒險。「慢活反而更有趣，怎麼都沒人早點告訴我啊！」我們就是抱著這種心情在做雜誌。

我們原本是以 2024 年的 草率季 Taipei Art Book Fair (TPABF) 為目標進行製作，但結果竟然大大地延宕了一整年，創刊號終於要在 TPABF 2025 首次亮相了。看吧，不著急真的很重要！
